TALPA001 SPACES

We perceive spaces in three dimensions. The dimensions of a visually perceived object can be described with absolute values, whereas the acoustic space knows no absolute dimension, no Archimedian point. There is only relation.

The presence and absence of sound allows us to follow the traces left by the sounding. The space itself is still. It is its content that brings it to our attention.

We can record traces of space, as we can create synthetic spaces, unreal and untranslatable to the visual. Space reflects on its content. It resonates  with it and ultimately creates a vanishing impression of an atmosphere. The compilation „Spaces” brings a selection of dark, but sweet spaces filled with emotional departures to the attentive listener.
